ATM MANAGEMENT
ATM Management is the process of planning and implementing systems for the management, monitoring and registering of ATM machines' events. How much money is in a ATM machine? The process enables banks and processing companies create a wide service line through an ATM. What are advantages and disadvantages of ATM?
Types of ATM:
- White Label ATM – When ATMs are owned and operated by non-bank entities but they are not doing ‘outsourcing-contract’ from a particular bank.
- Brown Label ATM – When banks outsourced the ATM operations to a third party.
- Green Label ATM – ATM is provided for Agricultural Transaction
- Orange Label ATM – Provided for Share Transactions
- Yellow Label ATM – Provided for E-commerce
- PINK label ATM – Such ATM are monitored by guards who ensure that only women access these ATM. The sole purpose of such ATM is to mitigate the problem of women standing in long queues of ATM
- Biometric ATM – ATMs which uses security features like fingerprint scanner and eye scanner of the customer to access the bank details.
Types of ATM Card
- Debit Cards:A debit card is a plastic payment card that can be used instead of cash when making purchases. It is similar to a credit card, but unlike a credit card, the money is immediately transferred directly from the cardholder's bank account when performing any transaction.
- Credit Cards:A credit card is a payment card issued to users to enable the cardholder to pay a merchant for goods and services based on the cardholder's promise to the card issuer to pay them for the amounts plus the other agreed charges. The card issuer creates a revolving account and grants a line of credit to the cardholder, from which the cardholder can borrow money for payment to a merchant or as a cash advance.
- Payment Cards: Payment cards are part of a payment system issued by financial institutions, such as a bank, to a customer that enables its owner to access the funds in the customer's designated bank accounts, or through a credit account and make payments by electronic funds transfer and access automated teller machines.
